President of Studio Operations
Charlie oversees all aspects of our Alaska based operations. He has worked with Sony Pictures, Universal Pictures, and Walt Disney Pictures providing post-production services for feature films and television shows and has been recognized for his award-winning work with corporate clients and agencies on local, regional and national advertising campaigns. Charlie is also the key liaison with our Alaska Business & Community Board of Advisors.
Charlie is a seasoned pilot, entrepreneur, father and talented musician. He’s been a resident of Alaska for 24 years and is involved in many of its civic and political circles.
James is experienced with motion picture development, finance, packaging, physical production and post-production along with negotiating worldwide distribution deals. James’ experience includes senior executive roles at multiple LA-based production companies and arranging his own private equity film financing syndicate. He produced the 2012 IFC Films’ release Brake and was recently awarded 2014 Motorcyclist of the Year by the American Motorcyclist Association for his work as producer on Why We Ride (shared with producer/director Bryan H. Carroll).
James also assists with new business development, arranging co-financing and distribution for select projects, and is the key liaison with our Los Angeles based Entertainment Board of Advisors.
STEVEN L. RYCHETNIK
Director of Photography
With more than 30 years of experience, Steven’s work spans all types of film productions to commercial shoots to filming the U.S. Army Special Forces training operations. He moves easily between HD and film formats, achieving superior results for feature films, network programming, documentary films, and high-end commercials.
Steven’s broad range of experience, creativity, easy-going manner and excellent work ethic has made him Alaska’s premier cinematographer. Steven is represented by Matt Birch — APA Talent Agency, Beverly Hills, Calif.
Chris is a senior engineer and production manager supporting the needs of our film, television and commercial clients. He has an extensive background in all aspects of composing, scoring and editing.
Chris worked with the Righteous Brothers for 13 years as their audio/studio engineer and video editor. He has worked on over 2,000 live shows, including at such iconic venues as the Hollywood Bowl and the White House. Some of the prominent artists he he has worked with are Stevie Wonder, The Motels, Ralphie May, KD Lang, Connie Stevens, Tony Orlando, Tower of Power, the Grass Roots, Temptations, and The Mavericks.
Music Director & Engineer
Kevin performed with the United States Air Force Band for 21 years. He holds a BA in Communications and the Arts (Music – Applied Piano: Classical & Jazz) from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay, and a Master Certificate in Music Production and Technology from Berklee College of Music. He has an extensive background in electronic music, recording, writing/arranging, composition, orchestration, film scoring and classical/liturgical organ.
